How much are lessons?
No matter what course you are taking – the price remains the same. Unlike other online teaching websites, we don’t charge ‘executive’ prices for business English. You get the same high standard of teaching no matter what level you are!
We design a tailored course according to your learning needs and include all course materials and homework assignments.
How do I book a class?
For your free trial lesson, please contact us to schedule a suitable time. After that, we work along with your schedule. If you wish to book a regular day/time for classes, this will be arranged after your free trial. If you cannot commit to a regular time/day slot, don’t worry! You choose class times that suits you, by emailing or phoning us. We are unique in that we can offer a 24 hour real-time tutorial service. We are available when you are!
Do I pay before or after the class?
Lessons must be paid for 24 hours prior to the class. In order to receive discounts, the packages must be booked in advance.
How do I pay for classes?
Our online English classes can be paid for by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover) via Paypal. Please note that you do not need a Paypal account to pay. Paypal have a secure and trusted credit card payment facility which we hold a verified business account with.
You can also pay by bank transfer into our Caixa or Itau accounts, or into our international HSBC account. Details on request.
How many English classes do you recommend I take a week?
For serious students, we recommend three 60 minute classes per week. Three classes a week keeps learning fresh, the student in a rhythm and the pace of learning quick. We do, however, work with students taking only one class per week. Their learning pace is just slower than it would be with more lessons.
My schedule is not predictable. Are you flexible with scheduling?
We understand that you may have a busy and unpredictable schedule. Therefore as long as your teacher has availability in his or her schedule, we can rearrange classes.
What happens if I cannot attend a class and have to cancel?
If you must cancel a class, you will not be charged if you give us a notice of 24 hours and the credit will go to your next class. If you do not show up for a class or cancel a class within less than 24 hours, you will be charged full price for the lesson.
Do you teach on the weekends?
We teach on Saturdays but are closed on Sundays.
What if the internet connection is poor or goes down?
If the internet connection is poor or goes down, the class will be rescheduled for a later date. Because it is difficult to tell from which end stems the problem, there will be no refund for the class.
Do you recommend I take online English classes with UK English Online even if I am studying autonomously?
Yes, for maximum learning, we encourage our students to study on their own. Some of our students take university courses, use self-study software, or just teach themselves from a text book. Since we emphasize conversation, our classes are a perfect complement to self-study.
