Is UK English Online free?
Yes. All podcast episodes are free to listen to, and you do not need an account. The PDF study books are optional and cost between £3.99 and £9.99.
Which podcast should I start with?
If you are a beginner (A1–A2), start with English Steps to Fluency: short daily episodes on one topic at a time. If you already know some English (B1–B2), go to Learn UK English By Podcast: real conversations about everyday life in Britain.
Is it British or American English?
British English. The vocabulary, spelling, pronunciation and everyday expressions are the ones people use in the UK.
Where can I listen to the episodes?
On this website, on Spreaker, and in most podcast apps – search for the name of the podcast. Listening is free everywhere.
How often are new episodes published?
English Steps to Fluency publishes a new short episode every day. Learn UK English By Podcast adds new conversations regularly.
What is in the study books?
The PDF study books contain the full dialogues or questions from the episodes, vocabulary lists and comprehension exercises, with an answer key. They are made to be read while you listen.
How do I receive my PDF after paying?
After PayPal confirms your payment, the download link appears on the confirmation page and is also sent to the email address you gave at checkout. We only ask for your email – no postal address. If you cannot find the email, please check your spam folder or contact us.
Can I buy a printed book?
Yes. Some titles are available as paperbacks and Kindle editions on Amazon UK. The links are on the product pages and on the home page.
Can teachers use the materials in class?
Yes. The classroom slides (PowerPoint) are made for teachers, projectors and online lessons, and teachers may use the PDF books with their own students. Please do not share or resell the files.
What level are the podcasts (CEFR)?
English Steps to Fluency is for beginners, A1–A2. Learn UK English By Podcast is for intermediate learners, roughly B1–B2.
